If you can tell your left foot from your right foot and you can count to four, then I can teach you to dance.
I have been a competitive dancer since 1994 and a dance instructor since 1998. During that time I have taught hundreds of people how to dance from their very first step! I offer professional dance instruction for any size group and any level of experience.
For your upcoming wedding or anniversary party, consider investing in professional dance instruction. I have worked with couples who are starting with their first dance steps, up to couples who are getting ready for the competition floor. Let my experience work for you.
Dancing doesn't have to be work - I can also lead all the participation dances that you want at your event such as the YMCA, the Electric Slide, Macarena, birdie/chicken dance and the hokey pokey.
Consider having a dance lesson at your rehearsal dinner. Give your wedding party and family a chance to dust off their dancing shoes before the big event.
Professional dance instruction is available for individuals, couples, or groups. You can contact us for current class schedules, rates, or to book a private lesson.

Night Club Two Step is the "slow dance for dancers." This dance is best done to slow ballad music, and it works equally well for pop, R&B and country. This dance makes a perfect low stress first dance at your wedding, or a great alternative to the "hug & sway" for those evenings out on the town.

West Coast Swing is one of the most flexible dances, incorporating patterns and movements from a wide variety of sources - this allows each dancer a lot of freedom for musical interpretation. This dance goes by three main names: push, whip, and west coast swing. It is the same dance, no matter what the name - the different names are used for different styling. West coast swing can be done to a wide range of musical styles from pop, to blues, to R&B, to disco, to funk, to new age. With each kind of music, west coast swing seems to become a whole new dance.

Two-Step is the only national country and western dance. Modern two-step originated in Houston in the 1980's as part of the "Urban Cowboy" craze. Even with professional dancers refining the dance everyday, it remains a "blue collar" dance that is still best done in your local honky-tonk.

Waltz is the romantic favorite for Brides & Grooms around the world. Through the centuries waltz has sometimes gotten a bad wrap (it was banned in Austria in the 1700's for fear that couples would waltz into a dark corner of the ballroom and "passionately embrace"), but no other dance matches the grace and flow of a classic waltz.

Latin dancing is quickly becoming a favorite across the country. Cha-Cha has it's roots in Cuba and in the music of the Caribbean. Along with salsa, cha-cha is a great way to dance the night away and burn a few calories in the process.

With it's roots in the big Band era of the 1940's and 1950's, east coast swing (and it's cousins lindy hop, bob, and jitterbug) still represents a high energy fell good dance. The music will get your feet tapping, your body moving, and your whole spirit lifted.

Polka is alive and well in the heart of Texas. This is one dance that has come a long way from it's folk roots, while still keeping one foot in it's traditions. Polka feels best when done to high energy fun music, from the traditional European folk music, to American blue grass, to modern country music you can hear on the radio.
Song Suggestions:
Salsa (or mambo) is one of the hottest new dance trends in years. There are dozens of latin artists that are having great success getting their songs onto the mainstream radio, and their beat into our feet. Along with cha-cha, salsa is one of the best ways to dance the night away and burn a few calories in the process.
